The Pat Mattmiller Heart of CDC Award was created in memory of Christine’s father, Pat Mattmiller — a beloved husband, father, grandfather, mentor, and an incredibly special part of Christine’s Dance Company.

While this award is presented each year at the end of our Competitive Showcase, Pat’s impact went far beyond recital weekends. He was a constant source of encouragement, wisdom, and support — not only for the studio, but in every aspect of life. He believed in hard work, kindness, and showing up for others. Through his example, he taught the importance of integrity, generosity, and always lending a helping hand.

Those values helped shape both Christine’s Dance Company and the community that surrounds it. Pat was always there — offering advice, building behind the scenes, welcoming families, and supporting dancers. But more importantly, he helped build the foundation of what CDC stands for today.

This award honors families who embody that same spirit — those who lead with kindness, support others, and help make CDC feel like home.

As a small token of our appreciation, each recipient will be presented with an award at our annual Competitive Showcase, along with a $500 tuition credit.
